In an international environment immediately after opening anthropologists sparked heated debate as to whether floresiensis "hobbits" an ordinary man, who was suffering Down syndrome, or Laron dwarfism, or it is still unknown even earlier form of Homo.

Researcher Antoine Balzac French Museum of Natural History in tandem with Paleopathology Philippe Charlier analyzed the skull of "The Hobbit", using a new approach. As a result of this work, the scientists have been able to figure out that the structure of the skulls «Homo floresiensis» missing key features that are inherent «Homo sapiens».
Also on the remains of creatures the scientists were able to find out that they do not suffer any genetic diseases, or dwarfism.

Equally surprising discovery explains the evolution of man. The study authors pointed out that so far it is not clear the origin of "The Hobbit." Presumably, this can be reduced by representatives of «Homo erectus's», or an unknown genus Homo.

Earlier, the same conclusion reached by scientists from Tokyo, who published his research at the end of last year. They are also of the opinion that floresiensis "Hobbits" are a separate species.
